What should we talk about today? Hmmm. I just wanna ask, how many of you watch Desperate Housewives? I watched the whole first season along with my dad and my big sis. Dad got the DVDs for us to watch, so we spent nearly every night of October watching the entire first series. There's one part of the mvoie that really made me laugh.
(( WARNING : For prudes, please do not read on, as the next part contains kind of sexual content. Although I'm not a very sexual person =pPp )).
There is one part where Bree Van De Kamp (( a horror version of Mrs Perfect )) nearly divorces her husband. Supposedly, she is not satisfying him sexually. So, they decided to work their problems out when Bree finds out that Rex has been paying, ahem, visits to her rival Maisy Gibbons. So, in this scene.
Bree : What's the problem, Rex? Tell me, I might be able to fix it!
Rex : Urmm.. I like to be dominated.
Bree : What?!
Rex : I like to be dominated.
LOL! My dad and I were giggling over this particular scene. So, to keep this blog PG13, I have decided not to mention any more. Btw, is anyone reading this too innocent to know what domination is? Well, don't ask me! I wouldn't know WHAT to say.
I would also like to mention another three of my all-time favourite TV shows.
#1 Charmed
- Starring Shannon Doherty (( Prue - dead now )), Alyssa Milano (( Phoebe - the hottest witch EVER! )), Holly Marie Combs (( Piper )), Rose McGowan (( Paige )), Brian Krause (( Leo - their ex-whitelighter )) and the hottest of all, DREW FULLER (( Chris )).
Okay, who wouldn't love this show? Hot witches in even hotter clothes! ^^ Not to mention the hottest Whitelighter witch son Piper could have hoped for. Chris is SUPER adorable. Ahh... Female empowerment at its greatest (: I'm so proud to be a girl.. * sniffs *
#2 American Idol
- Paula Abdul, Randy Jackson and Simon Cowell (( motormouth himself )).
Some people think this show is all about shooting down people's dreams, but hey! Look what happened to Kelly Clarkson, Justin Guarini, Kimberly Locke, Clay Aiken... OMG! They're superstars now! Especially Kelly, who is one of my fave singers. My favourite in Season 3 is of course the super cute Diana DeGarmo! For a 16-year-old girl, she sure can sing.
There is one scene where I had a really good laugh, though. For once, Fantasia wore something girlish, a long black slinky dress (( ooh-la-la! ^^ )).
Simon : You were fantastic, but what are you wearing? It looks like your mother's dress.
Fantasia : Simon, you don't know class!
In my opinion, Fantasia deserves an Oscar for even being brave enough to say that to Mr Tactless himself. Actually, Simon DOES give the show some kicks (:
#3 Extreme Makeover
Hey, who says this show is sexist? I think it's pretty good. You know why? I like to look at all those horribly ugly people get really really gorgeous! It's fantastic. Aww, I know superficiality isn't a good thing, but what the hey? It rocks. 'Nuff said.
